SCENE 8: Aurora grows up with the fairies

(Hi ha una cuna amb l’Aurora a l’escenari.)

*Soroll de bosc i imatge de cottage in the woods

Narrator: Aurora now lives in the forest in a safe house with the three fairies. The fairies are now like humans. Everything is quiet and peaceful in this fantastic place.

Red fairy: Hey girls! We are not fairies any more…

Blue fairy: Ok...one, two, three...HUMANS!!

*Soroll de màgia

(Es treuen les ales i les amaguen a darrera la fusta)

Yellow fairy: Wuauu! But...What about flying???

Red fairy: No more flying!

Blue fairy: No flying????

Yellow fairy: No magic??? ohhhhh!

*Bebe plorant

 (L’Aurora plora i  Malefica i el bird s’ho miren des d’un racó)

Red fairy:  Good morning little girl.

Blue fairy: Why are you crying?

Yellow fairy: I think she is hungry!

Red fairy:  I can’t take this! (es tapa les orelles)

Blye fairy: Do you want some carrots?

Yellow fairy: Yes, eat little girl!

Bird: Look Maleficent,  the little princess cries all day!

Red fairy:  I’ll go to the forest to pick some strawberries.

Blue fairy: Yes, better, she will be quiter. I’ll wash the clothes in the river.

Yellow fairy: Don’t worry! I’ll stay with Aurora.

(la yellow fairy s’adorm menstres bressa l’Aurora. La Malèfica s’atansa a l’Aurora, para de plorar i comença a riure )

*Rialles de bebé

Maleficent: Hello little princess. Do you want some milk?

(Agafa l’Aurora de la cuna, li mentres li dona un biberó marxa)

SCENE 7: The party

Narrator: Everybody came to the celebration to meet the new baby, even the three colourful and magic fairies! They wanted to give her a present. But one fairy, was not invited....

*Música de festa, medieval.

Queen: Welcome everybody. We are very happy that you are here with us, tonight.

Stefan: We are presenting our daughter, Aurora.

Queen: She is the princess and your future Queen.

Town 1: We’ve done this jewel to our beautiful princess, we are artisans.

Town 2: My wife sewed this blanket for the princess.

Town 3: This toy is for Aurora, I hope she enjoys it a lot.

Farmer: These apples are for the baby. 

Queen: Thank you everybody. We are so grateful.

Town 1: She’s a very beautiful and quiet girl.

Town 2: She is our princess.

Farmer: And she will be a good Queen!

Town 3: Long live the Queen!

Everybody: Long live the Queen.

Town 1: Where are the magic fairies?

Town 2: Yes, where are they?

Town 3: Look! They are coming! (assenyala al fons del passadís)

*Soroll de fades / màgia

(entren des del fons de la sala)

Queen: Welcome colorful fairies.

Red fairy: Hello everybody.

Blue fairy: The trip was so long, buff!

Yellow fairy: But, here we are.

King: What are you doing here?

Queen: Stefan! They want to give a present to our daughter.

King: Okay, you can see her.

Red fairy: Yes, we want to give a gift to the little princess.

Blue fairy: What’s her name?

Queen: Aurora.

Yellow fairy: What a beautiflul name for a girl.

Queen: Thank you so much.

Red fairy: Sweet Aurora my present for you is beauty. You will be the most beautiful woman in the world.

Blue fairy: Little princess my wish for you is joy. You’ll never be blue, always happy, all the days of your life.

Yellow fairy: Sweet baby, my wish for you is that you find…. (se sent un fort i terrible soroll)

*Llampec i tro

(la Maleficent entra pel final d’entre el públic)

Red fairy: Maleficent?

Blue fairy: She looks angry!

Maleficent: Well, well….there is a party (ho diu contenta, somrient)... and nobody invited me. (senyala al públic enfadada!)

Yellow fairy: Maleficent....

Maleficent: Shut up!

Stefan: Why did you come to the Castle Maleficent?

Maleficent: I wanted to give a present to your child.

Queen: Who is she?

Stefan: She is Maleficent a fairy from the magic kingdom. She is not welcome here! Go away!

Maleficent: Don’t worry Stefan. Sorry! King Stefan! Now I understand why you cut off my wings.

Stefan: Sorry Maleficent.

Maleficent: Sorry, sorry. Now, my present! She will be beautiful and happy…. but before the sun sets on her 16th birthday, she will prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and fall into a sleep like death. A sleep she will never awaken from!

Stefan:: No please, I beg you! (stefan es posa de genolls suplicant)

Queen: Maleficent please … (la reina es posa de genolls suplicant)

Maleficent: Ok, ok. She will wake up, but only by... a true love’s kiss.

*Música de por (la mateixa que abans)

(la Malèfica marxa )

Town 1: How can we help you?

Town 2: We have to put all the spindles in the fire.

Stefan: Yes! (s’aixeca i senyala al públic) Now, the spinning wheels are prohibited in this kingdom!

Town 3: We will do what you say!

Queen: Colourful fairies. How can you help us?

Stefan: Take Aurora and look after her until she becomes 16 years old.

Queen: But please… Don’t take my daughter away from me. She needs me.

Yellow fairy:  We will go to the forest.

Red fairy: To a safe house.

Blue fairy: We will take good care of her, your Majesty. 

Queen: Noooo, my daughter…(plora)

SCENE 6 Stephan and the Queen have got a baby

*Soroll de corb (ocell) 

(Es veu un corb, apareix un granger enfadat, agafa una reixa i atrapa el corb, la Malèfica s’ho mira de lluny)

Farmer: Come here little bird, come here! I’ve got you! You ate my harvest! (enfadat)

Maleficent: One, two, three! Into a man!

*Soroll de màgia 

(de darrera la fusta surt un noi vestit de negre i agafa l’ocell del terra, se’l posa a l’espatlla)

Farmer: A demon, you are a demon!

Bird: Thank you, you saved my life! Now I’m a boy. Thank you, I’ll be your servant. What do you need?

Maleficent: I need your wings.

Bird: Yes, mistress. (li fa una reverència)

Maleficent: Go to the castle and tell me what’s happening there.

(S’amaguen darrera la fusta)

*Bebe plorant

(Surt el l’Stephan a l’escenari amb la corona al cap i un bebe als braços, va cap a un costat, a l’altre costat surten els tres ciutadans) (l’home ocell treu el cap de darrera la fusta i ho mira)

Town 1: It’s a girl, it’s a girl! (li dona la notícia al town 2)

Town 2: It’s a girl! (li diu al town 3)

Town 3: Oh my God! a new baby is born!

(Marxen l’Stefan i els ciutadants i surten de darrera la fusta, primer la Maleficent que es passeja neguitosa d’una punta a l’altra, al cap de poc surt l’home ocell)

Maleficent: Well...What did you see?

Bird: Stephan is the new King, he is married to the Queen and they’ve had a baby. A baby girl! They will have a big party to celebrate it.

Maleficent: He did this to me to be the next King! We will go to that party! (enfadada i mirant al públic)

SCENE 5 The wedding!

Narrator: The king is in his castle, he is dying and Stefan has got Maleficent’s wings.

King: What’s this?

Stefan: Maleficent’s wings.

King: Did she dissapered?

Stefan: Yes, I have avenged you, Sir.

 King: You will be rewarded.

Stefan: I’ll do my best to be a worthy succesor your Majesty. 

Helper: This is fantastic! This are Maleficent’s wings! (content)

King: Where is the princess?

Helper: In a minute, Sir.

Princess: Hi daddy. How are you, today? (molt carinyosa)

 King: I’m dying, but I’m so happy because you’ll have a husband.

Princess: A husband?

King: Yes, he is going to be your husband. He has avenged me. Helper bring the rings. (els agafa de les mans un a cada costat i els hi fa donar)

Helper: Here they are, Sir. (es posen les anells l’un a l’altre)

*Música de boda

King: Live happily ever after. (el rei mort)

Princess: Daddyyyyy. (plora)

Helper: (li treu la corona i li posa a l’Stefan) Now you’ll be the new King, and you, beautiful princess will be the Queen. Long live the King! Long live the Queen.

SCENE 4 Maleficent’s wings

Narrator: Stefan wants the King’s crown and he goes to see Maleficent in her magic kingdom.

Stefan: Maleficent! Maleficent! (busca a la Malèfica, de cop i volta apareix darrera seu)

Maleficent: So...How is life with the humans? (enfadada,  trista…)

Stefan: They are very ambicious. Humans always think about power and money.

Maleficent: And you?

Stefan: Not me, I’m your friend.

Maleficent: What are you doing here?

Stefan: I want to help you.

Maleficent: Me? Why?

Stefan: The king is dying and he wants to kill you. The person that kills you will become the next King.

Maleficent: The next king? Thank you for warning me.

Narrator: Maleficent and Stefan are friends again. But look Stefan has got a sword in his pocket. (mentre parla el narrador, s’assenten a un racó de l’escenari)

Stefan: Are you thirsty?

Maleficent: Yes, thank you. (la Maleficent beu i s’adorm)

Stefan: I’m sorry Maleficent but I want to be the next king. (L’intenta matar però s’atura, es mira les ales i li talla).

(La Malèfica es desperta)

Maleficent:  Auch. What’s this pain? Ooooh no, my wings. Stefan, why did you do this? We were friends! (plorant i tocant-se l’esquena, es torna a dormir plorant).

SCENE 3 The king wants revenge!

Narrator: The king is dying and he needs a successor, a new king for the humans to marry his daughter, the Queen.

King: Come here, come here everybody.

Helper: Your majesty.

King: When I assended to the thrown… I promised the people (el rei tos mentre parla…) one day we would take the magic kingdom and its treasures… (el rei tos molt).

Helper: Your majesty, are you ok?

King: No... I’m dying. (tos)

Helper: No, we need you here with us. You are our king.

King: I was defeated in battle…. and its Maleficients fault! (crida aquesta última frase)

Helper: What do you need Sir? 

King: I want revenge! I want Maleficent ‘s wings.

Helper: Your majesty...but she is a fairy!

King: Kill that creature and you will take the crown, you will marry my daughter and be the next King! (assenyala la corona)

Helper:  We’ll take care of your daughter

Stefan: (mirant al públic) That’s fantastic. I’ll be the next king.

Helper: Stefan, let’s go! The king wants us to kill Maleficent.  King, if you need anything else, please, ring the bell.

(marxen Stefan i Helper)

King: Maleficent, you are going to die!

SCENE 2: The war between kingdoms

Narrator: Stephan and Maleficent grew apart in their lands. He was more ambitious each day and Maleficent became the strongest of the fairies and the protector of the kingdom. Maleficent loved Stefan but he never returned.

One day, the king of humans attacked the magic kingmdom.

(a l’escenari hi ha en una banda tres criatures del regne de la màgia i al fos els dos arbres quiets, i a l’altra el rei i els guàrdies)

king: Let’s attack the misteriuous creatures that live in this kingdom. (aixeca la espasa)

Guard 1: Yes, Sir, we are ready to attack them.

(Maleficent entra i crida) 

Maleficent: Don’t do it!!!

King: I’m the king! nobody orders me what to do.

Maleficent: You are not my king!

Guard 2: Sir, should we attack??

King: Bring her to me!!!

Guard 1: At your command.

( els ataquen i els dos arbres es comencen a moure, els prenen les espases i s’emporten el guàrdies y ataquen al Rei )

King: Noooo, it’s impossible.  I will kill you! This kingdom will be mine.

Maleficent: No, this Kingdom will never be yours, not now…. not ever!

(El rei cau)
